Double Crown + Madame Geneva

Double Crown is an upscale fusion eatery on Manhattan's Bowery. Madame Geneva is the sister cocktail bar tucked behind a velvet curtain in the back of the restaurant. The two share a kitchen, and a common heritage, but needed distinct identities that still worked together.

With food inspired by the tension and synthesis of cultures in colonial Southeast Asia and an interior design full of quirky antiques and tchotchkes, we created a cheeky identity that felt both regal and.... kind of silly.

Using the same geometry and structure as a basis for both logos, we created a double-sided business card for two distinct establishments with a shared history. One bright and cheeky, the other mysterious and sexy.
